Antonio Conte 'agrees' Tottenham deal to become next boss with Fabio Paratici appointment

1 min read

“No appointment is ever going to go down perfectly with everyone,” the former goalkeeper told Sky Sports.

“I just think you have to look at the history and the track record [that Conte has]. Winning trophies, winning leagues.

“He’s just come off winning the league with Inter Milan, so you have to look at that. But no hire, no matter who it is, is going to please every single supporter.

“The proof is always in the pudding on results, and if he is appointed and he has a strong pre-season, he’ll slowly get people on his side.”
