Arsenal owner Stan Kroenke makes decision on Mikel Arteta future after Europa League exit

1 min read

The Americans’ decision to join the breakaway European Super League, which they have since withdrawn from, was the final straw for many supporters.

Arsenal have been subject of a takeover offer from Spotify founder Daniel Ek, who is leading a consortium of three Gunners Invincibles.

However, the Kroenkes say they have no intention in selling the club.

Josh Kroenke, son of Stan and director at Arsenal, said last month money will be made available this summer to improve the squad.

But there will be no financial injection of Champions League qualification money, which would have been there if they got past Villarreal and beat Manchester United in the Europa League final.
