'Being talked about more and more!' Joe Biden facing looming Republican impeachment threat

US Republican Congressman Greg Murphy has told Fox News that the possibility of impeaching President Joe Biden is “being talked about more and more.” Republican Senator, Ted Cruz Cruz told listeners to his podcast this month that the Republicans will likely impeach President Biden if they win the House of Representatives in the US midterm elections. “Yeah, I do think there’s a chance of that, whether it’s justified or not,” he told “Verdict with Ted Cruz.”

Mr Murphy was asked whether he agreed with Senator Cruz’s comments on Fox News.

The Republican Congressman told Fox News: “Yeah, that’s, that’s a very interesting comment, one that’s being talked about more and more.

“If you look at the impeachment nonsense with President Trump and that they were literally trumped-up charges if you will, it’s just totally opposite from what has happened with Joe Biden.

He’s done things in my opinion, that are impeachable.”

“If you look at leaving Americans behind if you look at Afghanistan and just look at that one particular issue, he pulled out our military before our Americans got out that is, by definition, in my opinion, and I think a lot of folks dereliction of duty, which is an impeachable offence,” he added.

“So it would be very interesting, it’s not a matter of if it’s when we get the House back, how that is dealt with.

“I don’t like to play the tit for tat games, I don’t but you know, with this particular administration, how destructive they have been to the American people to our country to our national interest or national reputation, it surely will be on the table.”

It comes as polling showed that Mr Biden’s personal approval has now fallen below former president Donald Trump’s lowest ever rating of 35 percent.

She added: “Joe Biden’s tenure has suffered due to the withdrawal of the troops from Afghanistan and concerns around rising inflation.”

It comes amid report that US Democrat Party officials are now desperate to find a new candidate for the 2024 election.

Former White House advisor Ms Heineback has told Sky News Australia: “What I think is going on right now with the Democrat Party and the DMC, they have no one to put forward, but they know the one person who can get press, who can keep people talking about the Democrat party since Joe Biden, you know, hasn’t done anything is Hillary.

“I think they are really scrambling to figure this out and there’s no one to come to the fore.”
