Chelsea have surprise Harry Kane transfer stance which is good news for Manchester United

“Pep Guardiola believes that having played a full season and won the Premier League title again without much assistance from their main striker and record goalscorer Sergio Aguero, that they are quite well-suited to how they play and can compete without necessarily having to spend such a huge amount of money on a central striker.”

Meanwhile, former Tottenham striker Darren Bent cannot see Spurs selling to London rivals Chelsea unless they cough up £50m more than other interested parties.

“One of the clubs who have got that kind of money is Chelsea and they will throw everything at it,” Bent said on talkSPORT.

“Do I see Daniel Levy selling to Chelsea? I don’t, unless you add another £50m onto it, £200m.

“Although Chelsea have the money for it, the hatred between the two football clubs [will stop it].”
