Silverstone Auctions said the model is still running in “pin-sharp condition” for its age making it an ideal model for a classic car collector.
Auction specialists have given the model a guide price of between £20,000 and £25,000 but the model could still sell for more.
Silverstone Auctions said: “Many might regard this car as a museum piece and it would certainly grace any Mini collection.
“However, we feel that as this year is the 60th anniversary of the Mini Cooper, this venerable little 997 should celebrate its 60th birthday in September surrounded by admirers.”
