Covid symptoms: The ‘early warning’ sign you might have not heard of

1 min read

It seems that coronavirus triggered fainting, also known as syncope, in this case.

According to the German newspaper, the doctors see “a clear connection” between Covid and the fainting spells.

They believe this arises for three reasons: the reproducible circumstances “under which the syncope manifests itself”, “the clear chronological correlation of the symptoms with a SARS-CoV-2 infection”; and the “absence of properties that indicate a structural heart disease”.

This new symptom adds to the growing evidence reporting on other than respiratory signs caused by the virus.
