DEAL OF THE DAY: Shoppers are loving 'warm and cosy' Aldi duvet

Brits love Aldi’s affordable food, but the Specialbuys are even more popular, with some appearing in the middle aisle of the supermarket and an even wider range available on the website.

Specialbuys are usually released on Tuesdays and Sundays, and range from homewares and garden products to kitchen accessories and dupes for more expensive brands.

Recently, with the colder season upon us and energy bills rising, shoppers have been looking for products that could help avoid heating the whole house while still keeping themselves warm.

The duvet set features a neutral grey and white checked pattern, with a soft teddy fleece material.

Aldi’s website says: ‘Treat yourself to luxury bedding with the Kirkton House Check Printed Fleece King Duvet Set. Elevate your sleeping experience with this fleece duvet, perfect for the colder months ahead. This duvet set will keep you feeling warm and cosy giving you the best nights this festive holiday.’

The bedding set is machine washable at 40 degrees and is ideal for re-using every year when it comes to switching out to something warmer for the colder months.

The set includes a duvet cover and two pillowcases, and at only £25 for a king size, it could sell out any time so those looking to purchase the bedding will need to be quick.

Some 93 percent of shoppers said they would recommend the duvet set to a friend, with some saying they’re ‘impressed by the quality’.

ShelleyC said: ”This is the softest fleece quilt cover ever. So comfy. Defo recommend.”

Mary commented: ”Best purchase ever! Our main bedroom is the coldest in the house and this new duvet keep us so warm no need for hot water bottle or central heating at night!”

Lisa W also added: ”I bought this two weeks ago. It came as expected with no problems. It is very warm and cosy and looks very nice on the bed.”
