However, he warned “unhealthy” drivers should not be given a pass to continue driving purely because they were under a certain threshold.
When asked by Express.co.uk whether Mr Freeman would like to see a maximum limit introduced, he replied simply, “No, not at all”.
Speaking to Express.co.uk, Mr Freeman added: “Some people can be 90 and be like a 60-year-old.
“Why should they be penalised if they’ve looked after themselves, kept themselves really fit, not drunk alcohol, done 100 press ups every day.
