Expats expose the ‘biggest problem’ with life in South Africa – ‘Difficult’


Despite the difficulties of life in South Africa, expats rated the country’s natural environment very highly.

More than nine in 10 expats felt that the country was beautiful while almost 80 percent were happy with the weather.

South Africa is usually hot during summer which lasts from November to March and chilly in winter from May to August.
One expat said: “Great climate, great natural environment and very good food.”

South African food was very highly rated by the expats and the country’s cuisine often features a lot of fresh ingredients.
