Fury at BBC Olympics coverage as Dina Asher-Smith breaks down in tears 'Why the zooming?'

Dina Asher-Smith gave an emotional interview to the BBC as reflected on her 100m semi-final performance and revealed she had been battling with a hamstring injury in the run-up to the Olympic Games. Former Team GB sprinter Adam Gemili was critical of the broadcaster’s coverage of the interview, question why they zoomed in on the devastated Asher-Smith.

Mr Gemili tweeted: “Why they zooming????”
