Gabriel Martinelli one of six changes – Arsenal's best XI vs Leeds in Carabao Cup

Midfield – Elneny, Maitland-Niles, Odegaard

Mohamed Elneny has played just 45 minutes of football since starting the Gunners’ mauling of West Brom in this competition.

After missing a few games with a hamstring injury, the Egypt international has returned to the bench in recent weeks.

He will be hoping to line-up in a defensive midfield role alongside Ainsley Maitland-Niles, who hasn’t started a game since September’s win over Wimbledon.

Meanwhile, Martin Odegaard could be recalled following his surprise omission from the team that defeated Villa last time out.

The Norway international will be given a license to push forward and make things happen.
