Gardening expert and founder of plant subscription box Lazy Flora, Claire Ransom, shared exclusively with Express.co.uk which flowers you could plant now.
She said: “If you’re looking at flowering plants, so if you want ornamental plants, rather than plants to eat, all your regular, standard plants.
“So some seeds that I’ve planted that are at the stage where I’m going to plant them outside are some petunias and some cornflowers.
“I’ve got some cosmos, sweet peas as well, you can actually plant sweet peas directly into the ground at this time of year.
