“We are proposing all employees earning £50,000 or more per annum will take a temporary pay reduction of 7.5 percent.
“In the spirit of those on higher salaries taking the greater responsibility, the senior management team have agreed to cut their pay by 15 percent, with the highest earners in the organisation agreeing to reduce their pay by up to 30 percent.”
Southgate became the England national team manager in 2016.
He served as manager of Middlesborough from June 2006 until October 2009, and went on to manage the England under-21 team from 2013 to 2016.
