Developers Mihoyo has confirmed its launch plans for the new Genshin Impact Eula Banner event, which brings a new character and some drop boosts for old ones.

Eula will be the main focus of the new update, offering fans the chance to add a fresh face to their squad.

The “Born of Ocean Swell” Banner is kicking off with the five-star character as the main prize, but there are bonuses included.

The Song of Broken Pines will be the latest weapon to be added to the Genshin Impact roster, which has been confirmed as a five-star Claymore.

Boosted drops for the new sword will be going live simultaneously as Eula, with a base attack of 741.

According to developers Mihoyo, the event-exclusive 5-star weapon Song of Broken Pines and the 5-star weapon Aquila Favonia (Sword) will receive a huge drop-rate boost.

During the event wish, the 4-star weapons Sacrificial Sword (Sword), Rainslasher (Claymore), Dragon’s Bane (Polearm), Sacrificial Fragments (Catalyst), and Rust (Bow) will receive a huge drop-rate boost.

Of the above weapons, the event-exclusive weapon will not be available in the standard wish “Wanderlust Invocation.

WHEN DOES THE GENSHIN IMPACT EULA BANNER START?

Developers Mihoyo has revealed that the Genshin Impact Eula Banner release date has been set for Tuesday, May 18.

This will be a unified launch across all platforms, meaning PS4, PC and Mobile gamers should get access to the event at the same time.

Mihoyo has also confirmed that the new Weapon event, including the launch of the Broken Pines Claymore, will be going live at the same time.

The latest schedule released by Mihoyo confirmed that the Genshin Eula Banner release time has been set for 6pm server time.

“The “Test Run” trial event will be open during this event wish. Travellers may use fixed lineups containing the selected trial characters to enter specific stages and test them out. Travellers that complete the challenges will receive the corresponding rewards.”

Mihoyo has also revealed that this latest Banner event will be coming to an end on June 6 at the earlier 3pm server time.

It should also be noted that Travelers who reach the required Adventure Rank and complete the prerequisite quests will be able to use Story Keys to unlock Eula’s Story Quest “Aphros Delos Chapter.

The Story Quest feature is unlocked at Adventure Rank 26. Story Keys are obtained by completing Daily Commissions (one Story Key is awarded for every eight commissions completed.)
