Google has dropped a surprise reveal at its big IO 2022 event today, unveiling this year’s flagship Android phone – the Pixel 7 – for the very first time. The Pixel 7 keeps one of the most distinct design choices seen on the Pixel 6 range with the horizontal rear camera bump making a return. The new flagship Android phone will come fitted with the next-gen Tensor chip and will be available in a range of striking colours.
The Pixel 7 will be available in Obsidian, Snow, Lemongrass while the Pixel 7 Pro has Obsidian, Snow and Hazel colour schemes.
The Pixel 7 will launch this fall alongside the long-awaited Pixel Watch which also was revealed at Google IO 2022 today.
The first ever smartwatch made by Google boasts a dazzling bezel-less design and a classic circular watch face.
The Pixel Watch comes with intergrated Fitbit features such as sleep monitoring and tracking personal fitness goals.
And this long-awaited announcement wasn’t the only hardware announcement from IO 2022.
Besides the Pixel Watch and Pixel 7, Google also revealed the Pixel 6a, the Pixel Buds Pro and gave a glimpse at its new Pixel Tablet.
