Google’s biggest Android update in years will make your phone unrecognisable

Google fans have just been given their very first glimpse of what’s to come in Android 12 and this is one of the biggest changes to this popular operating system in years. The whole appearance has been completely updated with a more colourful design and better ways to personalise things.

In fact, Google is going to let users run wild with their phones changing the whole way things look and feel.

Google is calling this new feature ‘Material You’ with it allowing those with this OS installed to tweak colours and fonts and styles.

It can even use some clever AI to look at your home screen photo and pick colours that best suit your mood.

Along with that complete way to customise things there’s also some new additions to the drop-down menu which can even also users to instantly block apps from accessing the camera and microphone.

Privacy is a main focus of Google right now with Android 12 including better ways to stop apps from tracking you across the web.
