House prices drop for the first time in pandemic – what are house prices like near you?

The northeast boasts the lowest average house price, coming in at £145,000.

The property boom is the result of a number reasons related to the coronavirus pandemic, as lockdowns prompt many to reassess their living situation.

According to data compiled by Hamptons, in the past year, over 3.3 million Brits have moved away from a city or urban area.

The company also found 44 percent of Brits feel that the impact of coronavirus has made living in a city less appealing, and 4.3 million Brits, will no longer commute into a city for their job post-pandemic
