Jurgen Klopp system change opens up potential return for former Liverpool star

The Brazilian was a fan favourite during his time at Anfield but it was always inevitable that he would leave once his head was turned by Barcelona, but Coutinho could potentially head back to the place that he made a name for himself to reignite his career.

Although losing Coutinho was a big blow at the time, ironically the sale actually led to Liverpool’s success, as the mammoth £142million fee that was received for the Brazilian was reinvested in Alisson Becker and Virgil van Dijk, and the Champions League and Premier League shortly followed as Klopp made the Reds one of the best teams in the world.

Now, Coutinho could be available on the cheap, and with Liverpool seemingly only having to pay £100,000-a-week if Barcelona keep their word, there would be no complications in the deal.

The move all depends on if Klopp wants Coutinho back in the side, but the Brazilian would be welcomed back with open arms by the club’s supporters, and the midfielder would join a talented Brazilian contingent at Anfield.
