Lynsey Crombie shared her favourite cleaning product to tackle kitchen floors and the sticky stains that often accumulate there. The former professional cleaner does not use wipes for environmental reasons.
She told Express.co.uk: “I’m not a fan of using wipes, because of the environment.
“With the amount of cleaning I do, we’d have a whole tower of wipes out the back.”
However, Lynsey does use a certain head for her floor wipe mop to get the dirt up.
She said: “I do like using a head with microfiber padding because I think microfiber is going to lift the dirt rather than push it around.
“Those wipes are only pushing your dirt around your kitchen. They’re not fixing it.”

She is a huge advocate for using steam to deep clean.
“Steaming is a deep clean,” she said. “I think, you know, when you get your day off, it’s really good just to think about a deep clean and steam.
“It’s natural, it’s eco-friendly, there are no chemicals, and that heat is killing those germs.
“It’s a natural way to obviously get rid of those germs.”
The best product for the toiler is citric acid.
She said: “In your toilet, sometimes it can get that brown colour.
“Citric acid molecules are the best thing for that.
“Again, citric acid is cheap, it’s about a pound. Just pour it down the toilet.”
