Customers’ opinions were divided on Morrisons seeds initiative, with some expressing their delight over the campaign, while others believed the supermarket should be focusing on other things.
One customer wrote on Twitter: “Lovely to see.”
“How exciting, I will be sure to look out for these when we next go in! My little boy loves to grow flowers!” another customer added.
Meanwhile, some customers wanted Morrisons to give priority to the welfare of animals in its supply chain. One person wrote: “Make good things happen for chickens. Sign the Better Chicken Commitment. End animal cruelty in your supply chain!”
Another customer added: “This is all well and good but please, do something about the animal abuse in your supply chain.”
