Thousands of reports are coming in tonight that the Netflix app is down and not working on mobile phones.
The outage started around 2am BST on August 28 and appears to be affecting subscribers in different regions,
From what has been shared so far, those affected cannot access any content via the Netflix streaming service.
It is possible to open the Netflix app and access your account setting, but some subscribers do not see any other information.
This includes seeing a blank screen that appears to be loading but never shows any of the usual shows or movies. Other reports suggest that things load in the usual manner, but nothing no content can be streamed.
It’s unclear what is causing tonight’s problems, but the good news is that this isn’t a worldwide outage and should be fixed soon.
