Speculation about former US President Donald Trump considering out an electoral strategy has been circulating amongst the Republican Party. Mr Trump’s team are believed to have been concentrating on developping strategies that could help to win back voters from the five states that Joe Biden turned blue in 2020. GB News presenter Dan Wootton questioned the former’s president lawyer Rudy Giuliani on whether he had any insight about Mr Trump potentially challenging Mr Biden in 2024.

Mr Wootton said to the former Mayor of New York: “It is the question we all want to know has Donald Trump told you if he is going to run again?

“If you look at the polls in all of the swing states he’s well ahead of President Biden in a fantasy match-up.”

Mr Giuliani replied: “Well he hasn’t told himself that yet, so I’ll tell you exactly what his state of mind is.

“He’s a very open guy so I think it’s pretty accurate  what he’s saying.”

Trump’s former attorney Michael Cohen has also made comments this week about a comeback stating that “His ego can’t stand to be a two-time loser.”

“Maybe I can help you this way if the election was held right now, right now today I have no doubt he’d run.

“I don’t know if he’s telling you that, but I’m telling you that. I would say that assuming that he feels up to it.”

Mr Trump’s advisor added: “Right now he’s in tremendous health, assuming that the family is all ok with it, I would say that the odds are he will do it.”

“It’s not a hundred percent it is two years from now who knows what’s going to happen.”

President Trump has yet to confirm whether he will make a political comeback in 2024 but he appeared to hint at the possibility with one of his latest tweets.

In his Thanksgiving message he alluded to his return to the political arena: “A very interesting time in our country, but do not worry, we will be great again and we will do it together”

“America will never fail, and we will never allow it to go in the wrong direction. Too many generations of greatness are counting on us.

“Enjoy your Thanksgiving knowing that a wonderful future lies ahead.”

Mr Trump’s former attorney Michael Cohen has also made comments this week about a comeback stating that “his ego can’t stand to be a two-time loser.”

Nikki Haley, who previously served as President Trump’s ambassador to the United Nations, earlier this year gave and her own perspective on Trump running again in 2024.

In April, Ms Haley made comments to the Associated Press saying that: “I would not run if President Trump ran, and I would talk to him about it.”

She later added: “I would talk to him and see what his plans are. I would tell him about my plans. We would work on it together.”
