PS Plus October 2021 free PS4 and PS5 games: Hell Let Loose headlines a strong line-up

It looks like the PS Plus free games for October 2021 may have leaked ahead of schedule.

The next batch of PS Plus games will be officially announced on September 29 at 4.30pm.

However, as has become a bit of a trend in recent months, the PlayStation Plus free games may have been revealed early.

According to industry insider Wario64, the October PS Plus line-up will be headlined by Hell Let Loose on PS5.

The multiplayer shooter sees two teams of 50 soldiers battle it out during World War 2.

Even before the leak, Hell Let Loose was strongly tipped to appear on PS Plus, following a PlayStation-exclusive beta earlier this month.

As for the PS4 freebies, the leak suggests Mortal Kombat X and PGA Tour 2K21 will make an appearance.

Both games are worthy choices for PlayStation Plus, with Mortal Kombat X, in particular, a headline release for any line-up.

First released back in 2015, Mortal Kombat X introduced a host of new characters to the series, including Cassie Cage and Erron Black.

The new characters were joined by old favourites such as Kano, Sub-Zero, Reptile and Scorpion.

Judging by the leak, it looks like PS Plus version will contain the base game only, and not the add-on packs included in Mortal Kombat XL.

Post-release DLC added characters such as Tanya, Bo’ Rai Cho and Tremor, as well as guest fighters like Leatherface, Alien, Predator and Jason Voorhees.

As for PGA Tour 2K21, the popular golf game features an extensive career mode in which players must go from the amateur competitions to the pros.

The game includes 11 professionals such as Justin Thomas, as well as countless real-life courses including TPC Sawgrass, East Lake Golf Club, and more.

If you want to grab the September and October free PS4 and PS5 games, then it’s worth heading over to ShopTo for cheap PlayStation Plus subscriptions.

The UK retailer is currently selling 12-month PlayStation Plus subscriptions for just £41.85, compared to £49.99 on PSN.

As a digital membership, the PS Plus subscription will be delivered immediately, which means you can use it to bag the latest batch of free PlayStation Plus games.

As for the October 2021 free games, it’s worth checking back for the official announcement on September 29.
