PS5 in stock at GAME: Pre-orders finally available in-store – order your console TODAY

4 mins read

PS5 customers have been treated to more good news today, as consoles finally become available to order in-store.

If you’re looking to nab a PlayStation 5 console in June, then it’s worth heading to your local GAME store to pre-order a device.

As pointed out by the ever-reliable PS5 UK Stock Twitter account, PlayStation 5 customers can order a device by visiting GAME in person on June 21.

Once ordered, the PlayStation 5 consoles will be available to collect from Friday, June 25.

Needless to say, stock is available in limited quantities, so it could be worth phoning ahead to check availability.

On the plus side, the UK retailer will perform a check to find out if you’ve ordered before, which should make it harder for scalpers to buy up all of the stock.

More positive news is that excess pre-orders will be rolled over to the next batch, which means you’re likely to get one in July, even if you miss out today.

“PlayStation 5 available in-store at GAME, tomorrow,” reads a PS5 UK Stock tweet. “In-store pre-order, collect from 25th. Disc and digital PS5 standalones. Very limited, approx. 20 per store. Excess pre-orders rolled to next batch. 1pp, checks made to see if you’ve ordered before.”

If you don’t fancy braving the cold and queuing for a device, try the link below for potential online restocks at GAME.

Speaking of PS5 restocks, the console is also available at ASDA, although you’ll need to be quick to get hold of one.

Some fans also believe the PS5 will be back in stock at Amazon, as part of its Prime Day promotion on June 21 and June 22.

To give yourself the best possible chance of securing a PS5, it’s worth bookmarking some of the more popular stock checker accounts.

This includes Digital Foundry Deals, Stock Informer, PS5 UK Stock – Instant UpdatesPS5 UK Stock and Express Gaming – the latter of which will have live updates throughout the week.

Some of the accounts mentioned above have Discord groups for PS5 customers, while some have live streams and alerts on sites like YouTube.

Customers are generally encouraged to have multiple devices open when trying to purchase a PlayStation 5, and to sign in to retail accounts when available.

If you’re looking for some cheap PlayStation 5 games to enjoy with your newly purchased console, it’s worth visiting Amazon today.

As part of Amazon Prime Day, the online retailer has discounted some hugely popular PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch games.

The PS5 version of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is down to just £29.99 as part of the Prime Day promotion.

Likewise, fellow Ubisoft release Immortals Fenix Rising is reduced to £21.49, while Watch Dogs Legion costs £21.99.
