The Sims 4 will soon be available to play for free. On Tuesday, October 18 the base game of The Sims 4 will be free to download on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S as well as on PC via the EA app or Origin and on Mac with Origin or Steam. And that’s not all, as on the same day EA will be hosting a stream that reveals more on what’s in the works.
At 6pm UK time a Behind The Sims Summit will be held which reveals more on what EA has planned for The Sims.

For those in other time zones, the upcoming The Sims stream will air at 10am pacific time, 1pm eastern and 7pm CEST.

“The Sims has always been about celebrating new ways to play and offers so many possibilities to discover. Beginning on October 18, 2022, The Sims 4 base game will be available to all new players to download for free”.
If you have previously purchased The Sims 4 base game then you have until the end of October 17 to claim a free gift.
The free gift that’s available until the end of today is the Desert Luxe Kit. This offers indoor and outdoor furniture inspired by the Southwestern desert.
While EA Play and EA Play Pro members will get upgraded versions of The Sims 4.
The Sims 4 EA Play Edition will include Get To Work expansion pack while the EA Play Pro Edition will include both The Sims 4 Get To Work Expansion Pack and The Sims 4 Toddler Stuff Pack.
