Although the new NFL season is a little while away yet, fans are already beginning to get excited about what the new season may bring. There will naturally be the usual plethora of games and an avalanche of hard-hitting action to enjoy – plus plenty of off-field drama to stay entertained with. Many people will also begin to look ahead to what might happen come season end for fun or to place bets on it.

When it comes to future NFL odds and markets, picking which team might win the Superbowl is always popular. Although it might sound tricky before the season even starts, placing futures bets offers a new way to bet and can also deliver much better odds than backing a team later in the season. If you have a strong feeling that a certain team might win it in the coming year, it is a fun way to get ahead of the pack.

Of course, to make this kind of wager, you need to know which teams might be competing for Superbowl 2023 glory. Even if you do not plan to bet on this, finding out which teams might win the next Superbowl is fun to do. But which teams are looking to be top predictions for this?

Buffalo Bills

After their disappointment in the AFC Divisional game in 2021/22, the Bills have roared back in off-season to emerge as favorites for Superbowl 2023 victory. If quarterback Josh Allen can show the same kind of form that he did last season, they certainly have a good chance of going all the way.

The clever addition of experienced pros such as Rodger Saffold and Von Miller will also make them a lot stronger in key areas. Matt Araiza is also an intelligent signing for their special team, and could bag them vital points in the coming year. Add in exciting draft picks, such as Kaiir Elam and James Cook, and you have every reason to think a Superbowl title is the Bills to take.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

There are a few very good reasons to believe that the Bucs might be on for another Superbowl win in 2023. Firstly, iconic quarterback Tom Brady has come back from retirement after only 43 days, providing a huge boost for the team. With his leadership and elite-level playmaking skills, they have every chance of winning.

In addition, the Bucs are playing in a fairly weak NFC South division this year and you really can’t see them having any trouble making it into the post-season in 2023. Although sports can be unpredictable, as the English soccer players in danger of missing the World Cup 2022 squad shows, Tampa making it as divisional champions in 2022/23 seems pretty certain. If this happens as expected, they have the experience and talent to take home the title.

Kansas City Chiefs

It might be a bit boring to be picking the Chiefs for Superbowl victory yet again, but the talent in their team demands it. Although Patrick Mahomes might not have been quite at his imperious best last season, he is still a quarterback who can change a game and has top-end skills.

While Tyreek Hill leaving was not ideal in off-season, the Chiefs have acted to fill his spot with the highly rated youngster Trent McDuffie. With JuJu Smith-Schuster and Marquez Valdes-Scantling to call on still, they have enough in offense to trouble any team in the NFL.

LA Rams

As the defending champions, many people are expecting the Rams to make a real effort to bag back-to-back titles in 2023. With coach Sean McVay still in charge and the experience the team had of winning the Superbowl in 2022, you can see why they are such a hot tip for glory this coming year. They have also held onto top-class quarterback Matt Stafford, which should help them enjoy another successful season — if he performs as he can.

The arrival of Allen Robinson in off-season is also a massive boost for them and he will add an extra dimension to their offensive play. With fresh blood from the draft coming in defense too, including Kyren Williams, they look to be in great shape for the new season.

Superbowl 2023 race warming up

Although we have not even started the new NFL season yet, the Superbowl 2023 race already seems to be coming to life! With draft and off-season signings in place, fans now have a much better idea of how each team will look in the coming season. This in turn helps in predicting which teams might win the whole thing in 2023.
