Kate and William attended Cheltenham together in 2007. It was the opening day of the festival, and Kate appeared by her boyfriend’s side.
The future Duke of Cambridge was more focused on the public than Kate, as is the nature of royal duty.
“He even stuck to rigid royal protocol by walking ahead of Kate, leaving her standing in an operatic pose with a high, odd, handclasp that appeared to make a feature of the fact that William still hadn’t ‘put a ring on it’ in terms of that well-displayed ring finger,” Judi said.
“Kate’s ability to smile here regardless and to dress in matching frumpy tweeds showed she was a real trooper though and that she clearly ‘got’ the idea of life in The Firm.”
Kate and William’s 10th-anniversary pictures showed the couple smiling in one another arms.
She told Express.co.uk: “William and Kate’s body language together provides echoes of their signals of love that we saw at their wedding.
“It is almost as though time, royal crises and the birth of three adorable children have had no effect on their bonds as a couple.”
The expert suggested they show their bond may have become more “intense”, with Prince William appearing to be more comfortable displaying this publicly.
“The only subtle change is in the signals of intense admiration that William now shows openly as he gazes at his wife.”
