Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko has reported a series of kamikaze drone attacks across the capital.
On Telegram, he said: “An explosion in Shevchenkivsky district, in the center of the capital. All services are at the scene. Details will be announced later. The air alert continues. Stay in shelters!”
He added: “As a result of a drone attack, a fire broke out in a non-residential building in Shevchenkivsky district of Kyiv.
“Firefighters work. Several residential buildings were damaged. Healthcare workers are at the scene.
“We are clarifying information about the casualties.”
