What Ralf Rangnick told Man Utd chiefs in meeting about Maguire, Shaw and Wan-Bissaka

Manchester United interim manager Ralf Rangnick apparently delivered a presentation to club chiefs earlier this month, where he told them that captain Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw and Aaron Wan-Bissaka were not good enough to be playing for the club. And the German insisted all three of them need replacing.

Rangnick took the helm at Old Trafford in November after the sacking of Norwegian Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The 63-year-old is set to oversee the team until the end of the season before taking a behind-the-scenes consultancy role for the next two years.

Part of his focus in the years to come will be based around talent appraisal and identification.

And he has already told the hierarchy exactly what he thinks of the players the club already have.

According to 90min, Rangnick pulled apart the side’s defence during his presentation and recommended that major changes were needed.

He suggested that the club bring in Wolves defender Max Kilman, who has been in imperious form for the Black Country side this season.

The current boss named a whole host of players the club should target during the current transfer window, with RB Leipzig midfielder Amadou Haidara among them.
