Atrial fibrillation cases on 'staggering rise' putting millions at risk of having a stroke


A “STAGGERING” rise in the prevalence of atrial fibrillation over the past two decades has fanned concerns over the welfare of hundreds of thousands of people. Researchers have warned many of those affected have a “hidden” stroke risk in their hearts.
